Every installation for an awning recover or repair starts with a chat with one of our advisors to discuss your requirements over the phone, which will lead to a visit by a member of our installation and survey team.
They will thoroughly check your existing awning of all its moving components to see if it’s viable for the works expected/required to be carried out. Once a successful pre check has been made and everything is to a standard that’s acceptable, we can then begin the exciting stage… bringing your outdoor living space a refreshing new look and discussing your options.

In Person Survey
We will sit down with you and discuss your options for either a re-cover or parts that are required, with our high quality fabric swatches in all colours and patterns, which all are provided with a weatherproof seal, to make your investment last that much longer.
Once a fabric selection has been made or parts that are required to rectify any operational issues. We will go ahead with the exciting task and order the relevant items required… leaving you in capable hands, whilst we get to work.

Prepare for installation day!
Our skilled team will come equipped with your selected fabric cover, featuring the your optional Scalloped Valance from our Dickson Fabric Range. They’ll guide you through the revitalization process of your retractable awning with assurance and any queries answered in full.
To start, we'll promptly remove and dispose of the old fabric cover, evaluate the awning hardware to ensure it's thoroughly cleaned before installing your stunning new fabric cover.

New Fabric Installation
Once we've prepared your existing awning for its new fabric cover, we will start the installation process. First, we’ll secure the new fabric into the main cassette while carefully feeding it along the front of the blind until it is fully installed. At this stage, we’ll make necessary adjustments to ensure the fabric is centered. Finally, we’ll retract the fabric to create the appropriate bend in the pre-tensioned arms and properly tension the fabric for optimal positioning.

Ensuring your new fabric installation receives the care it deserves with our thorough routine maintenance check. We tighten all fixtures, clean and lubricate moving parts with silicone spray, and verify the operation of all sensors, changing batteries and limits as needed.
The result? A revitalized awning that breathes new life into your outdoor living space, perfect for entertaining friends and family.
